Oberhausen, 05 March 2026 – Our Vice President, Stavros Avgerinos has been selected by the Indian Dental Association (IDA) and the Indian Academy of Sports Dentistry (IASD) as a recipient of the Global Champion Smile Awards, officially confirmed in a letter dated 30 January 2026.

The award ceremony took place on 14 February 2026 during the Pune Dental Convention. Timings and the detailed event flow will be communicated by the organizers shortly.

He is being honored in the category “Lifetime Achievement in Sports Dentistry,” recognizing sustained, long-term contributions to advancing sports dentistry. In its official statement, IDA and IASD highlight that Avgerinos’ work reflects excellence, dedication, and a profound impact in dentistry, inspiring and strengthening the professional community.
